Practice the Way You Were Trained to Practice
Most clinicians did not go through years of doctoral training to spend eleven minutes with a patient before moving to the next room.
At i.Athlete Physio, you will not have to choose between the care you know is right and the schedule you are handed. We built a cash-based, performance-focused practice specifically so our clinicians could do the work the way it is supposed to be done. One patient. Your full attention. Enough time to actually think.
We work with athletes and active adults across Torrance and Pasadena who expect more from their care, which means we can expect more from how we deliver it. No churning through visits to hit an insurance-driven quota. No documentation that eats the hours you should be spending getting better at your craft. Just real clinical work, with the time and support to do it well.
If you are the kind of clinician who wants to think deeply about movement, build genuine relationships with the people you treat, and keep sharpening your skills years into your career instead of watching them plateau, this is what that looks like in practice.
Why We Do This Work
Our purpose is simple and we do not dress it up.We help people move better. Recover faster. Perform at a level they did not think was still available to them. Live a life where their body is not something they have to work around. That mission only works if the clinicians delivering it are supported, sharp, and genuinely invested in getting it right. Everything about how we built this practice, from the caseload to the mentorship to the culture, exists to protect that.
What We Actually Value
Not a poster on the wall. Not something we say in an interview and never mention again. These are the standards we hold each other to every day.
.....................
Client-Centric
Every decision starts with what creates the best outcome and the best experience for the person in front of us. Not what is fastest. Not what is easiest to document. What actually works.

Clinical and Professional Growth Mindset
Every decision starts with what creates the best outcome and the best experience for the person in front of us. Not what is fastest. Not what is easiest to document. What actually works.
.....................
Extreme Ownership
The shoulder depends on precise coordination between the arm, shoulder blade, rib cage, and spine. When those systems fall out of sync, irritation, weakness, and loss of confidence during overhead movement often follow.
.....................
Provider First
The hip is one of the body's primary force generators during walking, running, and lifting. Limitations in mobility, stability, or strength frequently show up as discomfort in the front, side, or deep within the hip joint.
.....................
Win Together
The knee relies on the hip, ankle, and trunk to control movement efficiently. When those areas are not doing their job, the knee often absorbs more stress than it was designed to handle.
What You Actually Get
We do not believe in vague promises about culture and growth without backing them up with specifics. Here is exactly what joining the team looks like.
- Competitive salary and bonus, with real room for growth as you develop
- One-on-one patient care, every session, with no aides or overlapping caseloads
- 30 to 35 visits per week is full-time, not 40-plus visits crammed into insurance-driven productivity targets
- Real clinical mentorship, not a one-time onboarding that disappears after your first month
- Minimal documentation, because this is a cash-based practice and your time belongs in the treatment room, not buried in notes
- $750 per year in continuing education, because we expect you to keep growing and we put money behind that expectation
- Paid time off
- Health insurance
- Genuine growth opportunities as the practice expands
- A team that will actually make your week better, not just your resume
